Facilities
At Ridgeway Academy Sports Centre we have a Sports Hall, Dance Studio and a brand new 3G All Weather Pitch.
We have the correct provision and equipment within these three facilities to cater for bookings for football (including indoor football), basketball, netball, table tennis, badminton, cricket, trampolining, dance, drama, musical theatre, fitness classes, martial arts as well as multi sports activities. All facilities are available for hire for clubs, groups or organisations as well as personal hire. We also cater for commercial bookings, facilitating meetings, training and courses within these facilities. We also have 2 sets each of male and female changing rooms, each with 5 showers. We also have 3 DDA compliant toilet facilities and 2 DDA compliant shower facilities.
Sports Facilities
All Weather Pitch
Brand New 3G Football Surface suitable for training, 9v9 and 11v11 matches.
Sports Hall
705 square metres with sprung Junkers flooring. Facilities for Badminton, Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Cricket, 5 a side Football.
Dance Studio
100 square metre sprung Junkers flooring. Fitted beech ballet bar. Wall mounted curtain track to 3 of 4 walls including continuous mirror to one wall. Audio / video facilities.
Attimore Hall
With just over 400 sq metres, Attimore Hall is perfect for a range of events, including parties, sport and martial arts. It has a projector, screen and sound system as well as a kitchen and serving area.
Gymnasium
The gymnasium has over 250sq metres of sprung flooring with markings for basketball and 5-a-side indoor football. With access to changing and shower facilities.
Football Pitches/Field grids.
The field offers one full size adult pitch, one small adult pitch and one junior pitch as well as one 9-a-side pitch and training grids.
Non-Sports Facilities
Osborn Hall
Osborn Hall has a stage with a 12 channel sound system along with stage lighting equipment. It is ideal for drama or dance performances along with large presentations.
Drama Studio
The Drama Studio offers lighting and sound facilities with mobile staging, blackout backdrop curtains and changing rooms, in addition there is an audience seating area. Ideal for drama or dance rehearsals and performances.
Classroom / Sixth Form Common Room
There are a number of different size classrooms with various seating layouts. The Sixth Form Common Room includes soft seating with a kitchen and vending machine. All rooms include an interactive whiteboard and sound system.
